Skills and Stats
Every Agents can have many Skills, providing advantages, enabling activities or allowing Component use.
Skills
Every Agent has its own skill tree. Each skill has 25 levels.
First Tier Skills are always available for learning. Second Tier Skills becomes available when the corresponding First Tier prerequisite Skill reaches its maximum level (25).
Skills can:
- allow and/or enhance Components use or Manufacture processes
- provide bonus to Ship properties, Manufacture processes, Market transactions and other game mechanics

Stats
Every Agent has some basic Stats values, that influences corresponding Skills.
Stats are defined at Agent creation time, and can not be modified later.
Each Stat can be between 1 and 10. Stats sum must be 30.
Stats are:
- STAMINA (S)
- REFLEXES (R)
- INTELLECT (I)
- TECHNOLOGY (T)
Stats effects on Skills
Each Skill depend on two stats. The sum of the two Stats value provides a modifier to the actual Skill value:

This modifier applies when skills provide a bonus to any game operation. It does not apply when skills are used as a requirement.
Examples:
Sonia has 6 Stamina and 8 Reflexes. Those stats provide a modifier to the Pilot Skill of 4%. If Sonia Pilot Skill is at level 10, she will have an actual value of 10,4.
Skill Tree Management
Character Points
Every Agent has a total number of Character Points.
These points are allocated in acquired Skills, one for each Skill level.
Thus, the sum of all acquired Skill levels can not exceed the number of Character Points.
Acquiring a skill level
Agents on a Base Station can train Skills, acquiring new levels. Getting a new Skill is just a matter of raising its level from 0 to 1.
In order to increase a Skill level, an Agent must spend enough points of the correct experience type for that Skill.
Also, he must have a free a free Character Point to allocate in that Skill level.
Releasing a skill level
Agents on a Base Station can release a Skill level, in order to train a different one.
Releasing a Skill level will make the allocated Character Point available again for another allocation. However, spent Experience Points are lost and will not be refunded.
